I am a mathematical physicist applying functional-analytic and operator-algebraic methods to study the mathematical structures underlying statistical mechanics, equilibrium thermodynamics, and (foundations of) quantum theory. Additionally, the theory of large deviations and quantum information also pique my interests.
Since May 2026 I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics at Radboud University, supported by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral Fellowship .
In December 2021 I obtained my PhD in Mathematics cum laude at the University of Trento under the supervision of Prof Dr. Valter Moretti. To this end I was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD Fellowship part of the European project INdAM-DP-Cofund-2015 ‘INdAM Doctoral Programme in Mathematics and/or Application Cofunded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions’ .
