I am a mathematical physicist with a focus on operator algebras and their applications to statistical mechanics, equilibrium thermodynamics, and the foundations of quantum theories. Additionally, I have interest in large deviations, particularly in relation with quantum information.
In December 2021 I obtained my PhD in Mathematics cum laude at the University of Trento under the supervision of Prof Dr. Valter Moretti. To this end I was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD Fellowship part of the European project INdAM-DP-Cofund-2015 ‘INdAM Doctoral Programme in Mathematics and/or Application Cofunded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions’ .
After obtaining my PhD I have worked as an Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Würzburg in the Mathematical Physics group of Prof. Dr. Stefan Waldmann.
